How it "feels": As the ledger drags across the bottom, the "feel" is transmitted back to the angler through the braid. If it goes through gravel, you'll hear a very distinct "knock, knock, knock" sound. The silt will create a steady, constant pressure and the rod tip will bend slightly before it starts to move. The harder it is to pull the wire back, the thicker the weeds will be.
Screw-in tip - The threads are screw-in, far superior to push-in tips with easy-turn threads, allowing for quick replacement and resistance to falling out
